6 shopping tips when you can’t afford a stylist

  1. When trying on new cloths wear an outfit including shoes that are easy to and slip on and off. This saves time and frustration.

  2. Make sure you’re under garments are the correct size and fit nicely. Check for bulging we don’t want this anywhere. If unsure your first stop must be a bra fitting and purchase suitable undies.

  3. Material plays a very important part. I always gently scrunch material first to determine if it crushes easily and check garments for any faults.

  4. If you are styling pre-existing wardrobe items make sure you wear it or bring it along. Wearing the old item is the perfect way to find brand new matching garments.

  5. If you’re unsure about an outfit you’re trying on take a photo. If still unsure continue shopping you can always come back later if you don’t find something better. Most shop assistants can hold items for a couple hours.

  6. Never think you need to buy a whole new wardrobe full of designer clothes each season. Trends change so quickly opt for items that make you feel true to yourself and comfortable. Dress to show your own fun style.

PS Always recognise a bargain xo
